Returns and exchanges
The deadline for exchanges and returns is 30 days from the date of purchase. Items must be new and complete as received and must be returned in their original condition. The form to be filled out is available on our website and must be completed correctly. It will then be sent to our email address.
This right of return can only be accepted for products in their original and complete condition (original labels, packaging, accessories, manuals) and in good condition. Products returned incomplete, damaged or used by the customer will not be accepted. Products must be sent in their original packaging in good condition (shoe brand box without tape around it) inside a cardboard shipping box.
In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, Bana will do its best to reimburse the customer quickly, however, this period will depend on the evaluations that will be carried out on the material, with a maximum duration of 15 days (counted from its arrival at Bana). The refund will be made in the same way that the payment was made (this option is only valid for the online store).
Shipping costs, if applicable, will not be refunded as they are expenses outside the scope of the service purchased.
When exercising the right of withdrawal, products can never be delivered to any Bana store; they must be returned directly to the online store.
In case of exchange for another product, the Customer may go directly to our Bana store, without needing to contact the online store in advance, and make the exchange within 30 days of receiving the product, maintaining the obligation to present the product for exchange in its original condition with proof of purchase.
To return an order, the customer must fill out the return form available on the online store (CLICK HERE), print it, attach it to the order, and send it to Bana Online - Estrada de Sassoeiros lote 24 a 2775-530 Carcavelos. The shipping costs for the product(s) are the customer's responsibility.
Bana does not accept returns in situations where the procedures and timeframes stipulated by the relevant legislation for communicating the exercise of the right of withdrawal have not been respected; or if the product is not packaged in its original packaging or is not accompanied by all of its original contents.
WARRANTIES AND AFTER-SALES SERVICE
All products sold benefit from a conformity guarantee, without prejudice to applicable legal guarantees.
Bana is committed to carrying out any necessary repairs with its suppliers. Regardless of the problem with your product, you must send a copy of the invoice, the product's warranty certificate (for surf clothing, watches, and sunglasses), and the return form along with the merchandise.
Please note that the warranty does not apply (or applies only partially) to repairs resulting from misuse or failure to use the product in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. We recommend that you carefully read the instruction manual provided with the product.
Bana cannot be held responsible if the manufacturer refuses to honor the warranty. Repair estimates not accepted by the customer may be subject to administrative fees. If you agree with the estimate, you will need to make a bank transfer corresponding to the respective repair cost.
DISPUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
For the resolution of any and all disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of these General Terms and Conditions, the Court of the District of Cascais shall have jurisdiction.
Bana is not responsible for delays or breaches of contract due to force majeure events: disruption, total or partial strike, postal services and means of transport or communication, flood, fire or war.
Bana is not responsible for any indirect damages: loss of business, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, damages or fees that may arise from the purchase of any product presented on the website.
Even though our products have performance comparable to professional uses, Bana is not aimed at a professional audience. Therefore, Bana cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from professional activity.
